RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of chef, you are responsible for the preparation, cooking, and serving of delicious, safe, and nutritious meals with consideration for the environment. Other important tasks include managing special diets, baking bread, being open-minded about preparing new dishes, and the daily handling of both dishes and cleaning of the kitchen and restaurant.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Chef training in large kitchens/restaurants or equivalent experience valued by the employer.
• Experience in cooking large quantities.
• Extensive knowledge/passion for cooking, food quality, environmental thinking, and guest focus.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of allergies.
• At least 3 years of documented experience working as a chef in the last 5 years, as well as experience in cooking larger quantities.
